Little explorers
(Ages 3–5)
This program provides a keepsake teddy bear and thoughtfully selected sensory-friendly items to bring comfort during treatment, recovery, or everyday challenges.
ADVENTURE BEAR
(AGES 6-13)
Adventure Bear embarks on a meaningful motorcycle journey on behalf of a child. Along the way, our volunteers capture photos, videos, and souvenirs-memories that are returned to the child as a reminder that they are never alone.
JOURNEY COMPANION
(AGES 14+)
This program provides encouragement and meaningful gifts to support older children and teens through their unique journeys.

Who is eligible for Christy's Treasure Chest programs?
Our current programs serve children living with chronic illnesses and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). At this time, we are focusing on children in Central Ohio as we continue to grow.
Is there any cost to participate?
No. Christy's Treasure Chest programs are provided at no cost to participating families thanks to the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
How do I refer a child?
Simply complete our referral form or contact us through the website. We'll reach out to learn more about your child and determine the best program for their needs.
What is an Adventure Bear?
An Adventure Bear is a special teddy bear that travels on meaningful journeys with our volunteer riders. Along the way, photos, videos, stories, and keepsakes are collected before the bear returns home to the child, bringing comfort, hope, and a one-of-a-kind adventure.
Can my child keep the Adventure Bear?
Yes. Every Adventure Bear becomes the child's forever keepsake and returns home with all of the memories collected during its journey.
How can I volunteer?
There are many ways to help! You can become an Adventure Rider, assist with events, help tell stories through photography or social media, or support our mission behind the scenes.

Christy's Treasure Chest was founded in honor of Christy, whose courage through years of medical challenges inspired a mission to bring hope, comfort, and meaningful memories to children facing similar journeys.

Christy's Treasure Chest is based in Dayton, Ohio. While our current programs focus on serving families in Columbus, Ohio, we hope to expand our reach in the future.
